In Person Support

While The House of Hope isn't quite ready yet, we understand your anticipation. Here's a heartfelt preview of what we have in store for you when we open our doors in 2024!

DROP IN SERVICE

Whether you would like to sit alone and have some time out, chat with one of our volunteers or seek further advice on support services, our kettle is always on.

CLASSES
Our programme of pre-bookable classes and workshops will be specifically tailored for those impacted by breast cancer.

COMPLEMENTARY THERAPIES
The tranquil treatment room will enable patients and their families to pre-book holistic and massage therapies carried out by a fully qualified professional practitioner.

SUPPORT GROUPS
Peer-to-peer support groups will form part of the weekly programming within The House of Hope. Groups will be hosted by a local patient or practitioner. Groups will provide a welcoming and safe space to connect with others who understand the impact of a breast cancer diagnosis.

Community is at the heart of the house, we want to ensure that everyone who accesses The House of Hope feels a sense of belonging and ownership by helping us to shape the house’s future and ethos.

If you have been impacted by breast cancer in any way, whether it be as a current patient, in remission, a carer, family or friend we want to hear your thoughts.

If you live in Edinburgh or the surrounding areas and have been impacted by breast cancer, we would really appreciate it if you could spare some time to complete our five minute survey.
