The House of Hope opened in 2025 as Scotland's first permanent community-based support and wellbeing centre for people impacted by breast cancer.
Located in Edinburgh, the House provides funded wellbeing support, holistic therapies and practical services in a welcoming community setting away from the hospital environment.
Breast cancer will impact 1 in 7 women in Scotland during their lifetime. The House of Hope exists to complement medical care by providing support that helps people navigate the emotional, practical and social challenges that can come with a breast cancer diagnosis.
Working alongside NHS services and organisations across the Scottish Cancer Network, we help ensure that more people can access the support they need, when they need it.

To ensure everyone impacted by breast cancer in Scotland has access to the support, connection and wellbeing services they need to live well.
Breast cancer can impact every aspect of life and often brings feelings of isolation. Our aim is to ensure that no one has to face that experience alone.
Through funded wellbeing services, holistic therapies, workshops, support groups and one-to-one support, we help people access the support they need while connecting with others who understand what they are going through. By creating opportunities for connection, support and shared understanding, we are building a community where people feel welcomed, supported and empowered.
“A breast cancer diagnosis at any stage can feel all-consuming. It can impact every part of your life. Inspired by the personal support I received from Future Dreams House in London, the House of Hope was created to be a haven away from the outside world - a safe space where those impacted by breast cancer can be who they need to be, while finding connection, compassion and community.”
Lisa Fleming, Founder & CEO

The House of Hope is a place where people impacted by breast cancer can find support, connection and understanding.
To help ensure everyone feels safe, respected and able to be themselves, we ask all visitors to follow our Helping Everyone Feel at Home guidelines. Together, we can create an environment where everyone feels welcome, valued and supported.
We are prioritising a digital brochure and limiting printouts to uphold our commitment to sustainability and reduce our environmental footprint.
